Rolliworks Service Agreement & Terms of Conditions

Welcome to Rolliworks LLC. By authorizing service, you agree to the following terms. We prioritize craftsmanship, precision, and clear communication.

1. Inspection & Service Authorization

Upon receipt, every timepiece or component undergoes a thorough  inspection where we photograph and communicate incoming condition via email.

• Service Estimates: We provide a formal estimate for all work. Work begins only after client approval.

• Pre-Approved Parts Allowance:

To ensure an efficient workflow, Movement Services include a pre-authorized parts allowance of $300, which may be higher for complex or vintage calibers. This allowance is a billing authorization that lets us auto-approve essential parts and proceed with repairs immediately to avoid delays; it is not a credit or a discount, and all parts used will be added to your final invoice. For Bracelet Repairs, any required parts or materials are not pre-authorized and will be specified separately in your individual estimate.

• Billing: This is a pre-authorization to bill for necessary components; it is not a credit or deposit.

• Estimate Validity: Formal estimates remain valid for 60 days.

2. Payment & Secure Vault Storage

Invoices are issued immediately upon completion of service.

• Grace Period: We provide a 45-day grace period to settle your invoice.

• Vault Storage Fee: If an invoice remains unpaid after 45 days, a $50.00 monthly Vault Storage Fee will be applied. This ensures your property remains fully insured and secured in our high-security vault.

• Communication is Key: We understand life happens. If you are on vacation, traveling, or facing financial difficulties, please email us. We are happy to extend your grace period or arrange a payment timeline, provided there is active communication.

• Release of Property: No property will be released until the full invoice, including any applicable storage fees, is paid in full.

3. Shipping & Logistics

• Inbound: Clients are responsible for all initial shipping costs, insurance, and duties.

• Outbound: We ship via fully insured, signature-required carriers. Rolliworks is not liable for carrier delays but will assist in filing insurance claims if necessary. We purchase Fedex labels through the our insurance carrier's web portal. By default the system will find the nearest Official Fedex Pick Up Center nearest the return address provided to us. Residential addresses are often restricted for high value items. We can bypass this but it often removes the insurance or lowers the insurance limit substantially. A commercial address can we a workaround.

4. Warranty & Quality Control Standards

We apply different levels of coverage based on the specific nature of the work performed:

• Full Movement Services (24-Month Warranty): Includes a 24-month limited warranty on mechanical defects and workmanship. Rolliworks covers insured shipping for confirmed claims within the first 180 days (Continental USA).

• Component & Aesthetic Services (Quality Verification): Services such as Bracelet Repairs, Casework, and Laser Welding are structural and aesthetic restorations of aged or damaged materials and are provided without a 24-month mechanical warranty.

• Our Movement Protection Protocol: For all cosmetic jobs where the movement is present, we perform an Incoming Timing Test to document the operational condition before work begins. Upon completion, we perform an Outgoing Timing Test to verify that the mechanics remain unaffected by our aesthetic or structural work. This ensures your watch leaves our facility in the same or better mechanical health than it arrived.

• General Exclusions: Any warranty is void if the timepiece is opened or serviced by a third party. We do not cover wear and tear, accidental impact, or water damage due to improper use (e.g., unsecured crowns).

5. Unclaimed & Abandoned Property

Pursuant to Florida Statute § 715.065, any article of jewelry or timepiece delivered for repair that remains unclaimed for a period of one (1) year may be disposed of or sold to recover costs.

• Lien Rights: Per Florida Statute § 713.58, Rolliworks LLC holds a possessory lien on all items for the value of labor, services, and parts.
